Eliminate Test Taking
Exam anxiety is nothing more than over-worrying about the future. In this particular case,
you are worried that you are not going to do well in your test or exam. Even if you study, often
you you blank out on tests because of this stress. Other symptoms include fast heart beat, sweaty
hands, hot or cold flashes and a general feeling of uneasiness.
Anxiety or stress over the long term is unhealthy for your body. When you are anxious your body
releases cortisol, a natural stress-fighting hormone. This hormone is meant to be in the blood
stream for a short period of time. If it stays in the bloodstream for too long, it begins to have
negative effects on your body.
In this seminar, you will learn more about anxiety and more importantly, how to control your anxiety.
You wil learn and practice exercises to re-program the way you handle stress, especially during tests.
If you experience over-all anxiety in other aspects of your life, these exercises can be applied to
keep you calm and in control.
